Walk through the doors at KidStart, and you'll find friends from diverse homes, with multiple needs: some are living in poverty; some are disabled; some are very social and some are withdrawn; some are very bright; some are months old; some are getting ready for Kindergarten.

Adults at KidStart, ready to support children and families, include certified professionals in teaching, speech-language therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, counseling, school psychology, and nursing.

KidStart is about the celebration of life, laughter, and learning through the eyes of children, and with loving guidance from adults. It is a start on a continuing journey, and positive relationships are key to ensuring success in reaching desired destinations.

Through its Special Services, Day Care and Head Start programs, each year the KidStart staff members touch the lives of more than 200 children ranging in age from 6 weeks to 12 years.
